Application Background

The climate in the areas where the transmission lines are located varies, and the corrosion environment is complex and changeable. The steel components of the equipment will experience various atmospheric corrosion damage. After the corrosion, the electrical and mechanical properties of the equipment will be greatly reduced, which seriously affects the safety of power transmission. Therefore, the atmospheric corrosion condition of the environment where the transmission line is located needs to be monitored in real time to provide technical support for transmission line corrosion protection. This product is distributed installation and measurement, realizes online remote monitoring, implements platform management, and graphical display. It is more intelligent and intuitive, significantly improves system operation and maintenance efficiency, and reduces enterprise operation and maintenance costs and labor costs.

Product Principle

The degree of corrosion can be judged according to the number of electrons transferred in electrochemical corrosion. In order to calculate the number of electrons transferred between two electrodes, two different metals are connected through a wire to form a corrosion couple. Measure the current on the wire and calculate the cumulative value of the current (that is, the amount of accumulated charge) to estimate the quality of the corroded metal.

For Quito tower design center, most of the engineers are local staffs. The Design is based on ASTM protocols meantime with GB material standard, which will reduce the weight, and avoid the replacement on the profiles to save the working time.
